Nelly and I had never met prior to this podcast. We were connected through a mutual friend who said Nelly was hosting a women's empowerment event and I wanted to learn more. Nelly and I share the same goal of tackling the mental health crisis that plagues our community. She wants to become a Dr. after establishing her career because she wants her work to be about about helping people and less about profit.
That's the kind of person she is and she's shares her personal story of loneliness and self-doubt and the journey to feeling empowered after being surrounded by women who wanted what was best for her.
