#18 - Tiesha and Tikeria - Reunited with my old students
In 2018-2019 I was a 7th grade math teacher. I love all my former students and on this episode of the podcast I brought two of them on the podcast to catch up since.
They said they weren't speaking at the time so I we started the episode trying to get to the bottom of the disagreement. It turns out Tiesha was just jealous about Tikeria having other friends.
Then we talk about what they think school should teach and why it's so boring and what they would want to learn. I have a lot of critiques of our public school system and it makes me sad that there isn't a big enough priority to invest in our young people.
I hope to have more of my students on in the future.
