#14 - Lamell McMorris - Greenlining Realty is buying back the block and creating opportunities for Black People
My mom connected me with Lamell and he's been a great mentor for me. We've gotten even closer since I've moved to Miami.
He has a very impressive career and one of the companies I'm most inspired by is his Greenlining Realty company which he is using to buy back his old neighborhood, upgrade it, and keep it owned by the members of that community.
In our conversation, he shares his career path and how his passion for advocacy influenced him to work in public policy.
Like he says, though we face plenty of challenges, they are just opportunities for us to improve. We don't need to shrink, we just need to accept the challenge and do our part.
